Arrived early to catch the wind as it was forcast to drop off later in the day. There were a couple of Kiters getting reading to head out. Desperate to try out my new or rather second hand sail I rigged by 6.4 Jet and headed out.

It was a bit light to start off with and I only really got planing as I got further out and then it was just great. The wind did increase slightly later on, which made the session even better. I was able to plane right from the beach. I had to try a few settings with the sail until it felt good and boy does it feel good. The only negative part was I fell in too much while gybing and then felt a bit sea sick swimming the rig into position to waterstart. I also found out my upwind ability is rather crap compared to Al. Something to work on or easier still buy a bigger fin.

All in all a great sesion and well worth the trip. 4 stars
